Bill Edgington, Founder of Edgewater Custom Pools, Inc., designed and built the first Edgewater Pool in 1969. Since then, we have constructed over 2,500 pools and spas, mostly on a referral basis.

The difference between a good pool builder and an average one is the quality of the subcontractors employed by the builder and, most importantly, the field supervision of the project. The trend in the industry has been that a salesman will sell you the pool, and a scheduler will run the job from a desk with little or no field supervision. You will never hear from or see your salesperson again. Any variance in the field condition from the plan will cause confusion among the subs and/or unnecessary delays in the project.
